Online – Self-paced  Delivery — All course materials will be made available as part of the program. You will be able to print most of the course materials, as required. You are advised to follow the nominal hours allocated to each unit as a guide to self-pacing your study. You will have access to a course coordinator during the college term.  You will be able to contact your course coordinator by email or telephone during the term for one on one assistance.  We try to provide as much support as needed, so please do not hesitate to contact your course coordinator, whenever you need any assistance.

On successful completion of this course, graduates may consider further study at a higher tertiary level within the university sector.  After achieving the BSB60120 Advanced Diploma of Business, candidates may undertake the Bachelor of Business at any Australian University or a range of other Advanced Diploma qualifications.

Pathway options can be discussed with students upon completion of studies.

Teaching-learning resources may include: study guides, textbooks, electronic notes, web resources and reading material.

Students will learn management skills and techniques via project work, practical exercises, individual studies, research, discussion using industry-standard applications and materials/tools.

Assessment methods and tools may include:  oral tasks (interview questions), written tasks (workbook, recognition of prior learning, tests, assignments, examinations), group work and discussions (case studies, role plays), project (workplace research project), and simulated or workplace performance (practical demonstration with observation checklists).  Assessment results recognise student achievement against each competency.

To undertake this course, we recommend the following entry requirements.

  • Completed Year 12 or its equivalent
  • Mature age (18 years and over) with language, literacy, and numeracy proficiency.
